Reminiscent of Godfather of Pop Art, Peter Blake’s USA series, The Elements of Acid House brings together multiple nods to rave culture, with everything from a map of Ibiza and a rave whistle, to a young chap ‘tripping on e’. The heart in the image is based on the flyer art for iconic all-nighter, Shoom – the dance event that kicked off rave culture. Â
The Elements of Acid House is a giclée print with 23ct gold leaf, spot varnish and a diamond dust glitter edge detail. From a limited edition of 30, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist. Â
