Ryan Callanan AKA Ryca is known for his fun artworks that combine techniques and typography used in old-fashioned pub signage with motifs from popular culture. Most notably, the smiley face synonymous with the Acid House rave culture of the 1980s.
Psychedelic Acid is another interpretation of the acid man. The pattern was a ‘happy accident’ that occurred while RYCA was messing around with his computer software. He liked it so much, he made it into a print.
