Mike Edwards is a master at marrying word and image to produce his unique form of celebrity portraiture. Using song lyrics, memorable quotes, or his own poetic compositions, Edwards layers text in graduating colours to create images of great icons.
In this typographic portrait, Edwards portrays Prince in his own words, including lines from classic hits such as, When Doves Cry, Raspberry Beret and 1999.
