When Time Inc. announced that after 66 years in print, the NME would no longer exist in print format, contemporary photographer, Mark Vessey wanted to commemorate the iconic magazine that had inspired his creativity.
Featuring special issues dedicated to The Clash, Nirvana, Radiohead, The Manic Street Preachers, Bob Dylan and The Who, New Musical Express captures a very specific moment in time and marks its place as an artefact of 20th and 21st century popular culture.
This print is from a limited edition of 15 and comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity. It also comes framed in a 25mm bright white box frame.
