This piece is an extension of Nicole s award-winning Botanical Troupe series, in which she celebrates the innate wisdom of mycelium, and the support it provides to the botanical worlds it inhabits. Nicole has chosen to team her fungi with a skateboard deck as she sees a similar sense of community within the skateboarding community, with boarders nurturing each other and sharing their wisdom.
