STUDIO 54 on Sale

They certainly don t make nightclubs like they used to, and no nightspot has come close to rivalling the glitz, glam and pure hedonism of New York s legendary Studio 54.

The guest list at this nightspot was once the thing of dreams with everyone from Cher and Grace Jones, to Andy Warhol and Truman Capote crowding the dancefloor night after night.

Sadly, Studio 54 closed its doors in the eighties. For this print, Mark Vessey has captured the iconic doors of the nightclub, covered by shutters.
