Mr Brainwash is a prominent street artist who was launched onto the art scene in 2010 off the back of the Banksy-directed documentary, Exit Through the Gift Shop.
This piece is a prime example of the artist’s oeuvre, in which he appropriates imagery from popular culture and adds his own graffiti-style flourishes. Here, Mr Brainwash captures the punk spirit of doomed Sex Pistols guitarist, Sid Vicious.
