Dirty Hans is a painter and illustrator, specialising in high impact contemporary urban art. Inspired by the work of artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Hans’ work fuses Pop Art sensibilities with realism to create fun pieces, which borrow imagery from everywhere from the 1950s to comic books and pulp magazines.
Captain America features a vibrant bust of the superhero underlaid with prints of original Avengers comics. Other superheroes Hans has epitomised in a similar style include Batman, Superman and Iron Man.
The print is from a limited edition of 195, signed and numbered by the artist.
