Insainsbury’s is a collaboration between Pattern Up – a revolutionary collective of artists, and Haus of Lucy – an artist known for taking existing artworks from paintings to porcelains, and adding her own touches for a modern, satirical twist.Â
The piece is a comment on the rising cost of living and the insanity of price rises. As a result, the artwork depicts the local townsfolk rioting outside their local branch of ‘Insainsbury’s’.
