Yah Boo Sucks is from a series of 12 ink washes created by Gilbert and George to honour the 50th anniversary of London’s Serpentine Gallery. The gallery was the first to bring the duo’s Dirty Words Pictures (1977) together for the first time.
The series combines found swear words and slogans exploring urban life, 20th century turmoil and our shifting attitudes towards sexuality and existence.
From a limited edition of 50, each piece is framed, created by hand with Indian Ink and is therefore unique. It comes signed and numbered by the artist.Â
These pieces are float mounted in a white box frame.
Size (cm): 80 x 110Â
