Totem Love Life Death and Art: Acid Trip is an original piece created for Magnus Gjoen’s 2022 solo show at Enter Gallery, ‘The History of the Future’ – an exploration of life, love, death and art.
This totem sculpture depicts fragments of a classical column juxtaposed with the tail of a bomb. The piece alludes to the frequent destruction of historical sights, and the need to preserve archaeological treasures for future generations.
This original piece is created with archival inks, acrylic paint and gold leaf on birch plywood. It comes signed by the artist.
