Ryan Callanan aka RYCA has created this original piece especially for his 2022 solo show at Enter Gallery, Playtime – a journey inspired by ‘countless hours wasted bashing buttons’.

In this nostalgic series of original paintings, RYCA recreates classic Sega packaging with nods to modern internet terminology, music and movies. In There’s No Place, RYCA pays homage to classic movie, The Wizard of Oz.

Playtime marks the artist’s first time presenting a series of paintings, and as he explains: ‘this could be the first and the last time…’
