Ola Volo is a Canadian illustrator and mural artist, known for narrative works inspired by folklore, identity and multiculturalism. Terra, Special Edition is from Volo’s Les Femmes series in which she creates her own interpretations of goddesses.  

In the piece, Volo depicts her goddess sporting a crown and cradling a swan – a bird that carries much symbolism in the world of folklore as an emblem of grace and beauty. Volo reveals:
