Jayson Lilley s love of urban architecture shines through his work, and reminds us of the beauty to be found in the urban environment when we choose to notice it.

Tate is from Lilley’s London One Pound Note Series, in which he depicts iconic views of the city on vintage one pound notes. Here, he portrays the Tate Modern basking in the light of a setting sun.

This hand-pulled screenprint with orange glitter is printed on a one pound note from the 1980s. From a limited edition of 50, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
