Kate Jenkins is a Brighton-based artist known for joyful pop-art crochet, knit and embroidery creations. Mostly food-focused, and spanning everything from prawn platters to patisserie pastries, her artworks are entwined with a wonderful sense of humour.
In Self-Isolation Squid, the wide-eyed sea creature emerges from his tin prison, splashing ink all over the place in the process.
