Saving the Day Supply

Mixed-media artist, Mark Davies is known for creating striking compositions which apply his own narrative to that of beloved movies, fairy tales and fiction. Inspired by the likes of Hans Christian Andersen and The Brothers Grimm, Davies likes to err on the side of the sinister, composing his pieces to further explore the darker themes underlying the stories we cherish.

In Saving the Day, Davies applies his mesmerising magic to Ghostbusters. As Stay Puft Marshmallow Man rampages through the streets, the team ready themselves to capture him. The piece is peppered with nods to the classic movie, from their headquarters in the Fire Station to The Ectomobile, gearing up for action.
