Erre is a Colombian street artist who creates rousing murals and prints designed to inspire and empower women to fight for equality. Erre s artworks tackle corruption, hypocrisy and feature strong female figures as a direct challenge to the culture of machismo in Latin America, and beyond. 

In this piece, a girl ignores a sign telling her she s not welcome, and decides to break down the wall for herself. This motif of destruction and tearing apart of oppressive systems is seen across her work.
