Cosmo Sarson is a British street artist best-known for his large-scale murals, Breakdancing Jesus and The Angel of Brighton. Inspired by the Old Masters, Sarson reimagines popular myths to bring them into modern times.
As with many of his artworks, Neptune began life as a mural towering over the cityscape of Brighton from its home on Edward Street. Neptune is the Roman God of Seas and Water, and is said to control our wind and storms.
This piece is finished with a silkscreened crackle varnish layer, hand-finished in gold leaf, and aged and distressed with real Verdigris solution.
From a limited edition of 100, this giclée print is signed and numbered by the artist.
