Marilyn Gets Ready is an open edition pigment prints on Baryta paper by photographer Michael Ochs.
American actress Marilyn Monroe (1926 – 1962) in her room at the Ambassador Hotel, New York City, 24th March 1955. She is getting ready to go out to watch a performance of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams.
The images in the Michael Ochs collection have slightly different sizes, this is quite common for photography that was shot in analogue as opposed to digital.
The print dimensions provided refer to the paper size, including the white border, and not to the printed area.
In some instances we may be able arrange for prints to have exactly the same measurements of the printed area (at an additional charge). If you require this service please contact the gallery.
