Lamp and Lung Kuan Ware Sale

Lamp and Lung Kuan Ware is from a series of eight silkscreen prints by Patrick Caulfield. The piece is from the artist’s White Ware series, in which he portrays a single white ceramic pot represented against a dark background, and illuminated with shafts of light.

This series is said to have been inspired by the V&A Museum’s catalogues featuring their collection of oriental ceramics.

From a limited edition of 45, the piece comes framed in a white box frame, signed and numbered by the artist.
