Ice Queen Fashion

Sara Pope has created Ice Queen especially for Enter Gallery’s Art Yard Sale 2022, and is the latest of Pope’s coveted collection of lip portraits.

Each flirty artwork begins life with a photographic shoot where the models are asked to think about certain emotions to allow Pope to capture the moods our mouths help us convey. Next, Pope paints the lips using several thin layers of oil paint to create the high-gloss final finish.

Ice Queen is from a limited edition of 20, signed and numbered by the artist. Each print in the edition is hand-embellished with Swarovski crystals, the colour of which will vary from piece to piece.
