RYCA is known for fun artworks that play with motifs from popular culture, most notably, the acid smiley. This nod to rave culture is seen across RYCA’s oeuvre, making Happy House (Fluoro) instantly recognisable as a piece from this exciting artist.

To create the piece, RYCA hand carves the lettering into the wood, and then paints it with fluorescent spray paint. Next, he uses a silkscreen print on glass to enhance the 3D effect of the design.
