Vintage Blake was released in the spring 2012, to coincide with the legendary artist’s 80th birthday in June of that year.

For this silkscreen print, Blake revisits his iconic crowd collage, assembling cultural figures from past and present in the style of his famous Sargent Pepper s Lonely Hearts Club album cover.

Look out for significant figures from the artist’s life, including Hirst and Hockney, Bowie and Twiggy, and even Blake himself, champagne flute in hand as he marks the big day. In place of the Beatles’ drum, Blake adds his signature target motif, branded with the words ‘Peter Blake’s 80th | Family, Friends & Icons’.

From a signed limited edition of only 250 Vintage Blake is a rare collector’s item and a must-have for the Blake aficionado or the dedicated follower of pop art.
