Contemporary British artist, Paul Morrison is lauded for his botanical landscapes that play with scale and juxtaposition to invent surreal-yet-familiar worlds. Whether working with paint, sculpture or film, Morrison creates his scenes from found imagery sourced everywhere from textbooks, to Disney cartoons.
For Rosy Fingered Dawn, Morrison has tweaked the size of his flowers to lend them a monstrous air. The title of the piece is inspired by a painting from Dutch abstract expressionist artist, Willem de Kooning.
From a limited edition of 100, this silkscreen print with gold leaf is signed and numbered by the artist. It also comes framed in a 25mm black box frame.
