This piece from Brazilian artist Leda Catunda, is from her 2014 Projecto Nightclub collection – a series of eight polymer-gravure block prints, so vibrant and alive, they reminded the artist of a nightclub.
Through her art, Catunda probes the boundaries between painting and object, creating large-scale works that incorporate textiles and often resemble organic structures and organisms. The artist paints over soft fabrics to create the unusual patterns and textures that characterise her work.
This print is from a limited edition of 60, signed by the artist. It also comes framed in 25mm white box frame with white shadow float.
