The late Jamie Reid is an iconic British artist, known as the artistic mastermind behind the visual style of the Sex Pistols. Reid is most famous for subverting portraiture of political figureheads, most notably piercing the lip of Queen Elizabeth II with a safety pin.

This special piece encompasses many layers of Reid’s career, making it perfect for die hard collectors of his work.

Reid’s image first appeared in the Suburban Press Poster Book – the Croydon publication where he first cut his artistic teeth. Later, it was used for the record cover of the Sex Pistols 1977 single, Pretty Vacant.

From a limited edition of 200, this silkscreen print in orange and silver comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, and signed and numbered by the artist.

Please note this piece is framed in a 25mm white box frame with a white shadow float and UV glass
