Boo Saville is a contemporary artist known for her fascination with colours, how they play with each other, and how we interpret them.

This piece is from Saville’s 2024 Palindrome series, in which she explores how blurred geometrical lines can present new ways of accessing colour. A palindrome is a word, sentence or number that reads the same backwards and forwards. Each of the four editions in the series are titled after a palindrome and can be experienced in multiple directions.

Saville elaborates: “I have recently started to explore symmetry in the composition of my work. I am seeking a sense of balance. The line is a proposition. It represents the centre of yourself. The centre is something that suggests you are at peace with yourself; it is self-acceptance.”

This layered archival pigment print is from a limited edition of 40, signed and titled on the front, and numbered on the reverse.

Please note this piece is framed in a 25mm white box frame with a shadow float and regular glass.

Size (cm): 86 x 75.3
