Erre is a Colombian street artist who creates rousing murals and prints designed to inspire and empower women to fight for equality. Erre s artworks tackle corruption, hypocrisy and feature strong female figures as a direct challenge to the culture of machismo in Latin America, and beyond. 

In Callejeras, Erre depicts four punk rock women and their furry friend casually watching on as the world burns. This motif of destruction and burning down of established systems is seen across the artist s work.
