Burnt Out is about the importance of bees as pollinators and how they are disregarded by so many with the overuse of pesticides and loss of habitats having a detrimental effect. 

The total loss of bees would be catastrophic to humankind – akin to a comet hitting the earth, which creates this power visual metaphor.
