Framed As If Eleven on Sale

Over an artistic career spanning six decades, Frank Bowling has pursued a practice that seeks to boldly expand the possibilities and properties of paint. Always ambitious in scale and scope, the artist’s ever-evolving engagement with the material nature of the art world has resulted in an oeuvre of powerful and original pieces. 

Bowling was asked to create this artwork, along with seven other leading international artists, to honour the 21^{st anniversary of the Tate Modern.}

As If Eleven is a 19-colour screenprint on Somerset Tub Sized Satin White. From a limited edition of 100, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
