Flowers Whirl Away is a polaroid collage by celebrated contemporary artist, Andrew Millar. The piece depicts a women, adorned with various items from nature, giving the appearance that she is half-woman-half-mythical-creature.
Miller’s art combines Polaroid photographs with vintage imagery, paint and gold and silver leaf to create delicate collages depicting women, captured in some kind of metamorphosis. His surreal images, which are an evocative mixture of fantasy and reality, are a celebration of female individuality and strength.
