Tim Sanders has created Disco Devil especially for Sound and Vision – our first group show of 2022. For the show, each artist has created an artwork in homage to the music that has inspired their work. This piece is available exclusively at Enter Gallery.

This piece is a homage to innovative Jamaican record producer, Lee Scratch Perry, whose track, Disco Devil, was most famously sampled by Prodigy in their 1992 song ‘Out of Space’.

Sanders explains the symbolism included in the piece:

‘The typography in the artwork takes inspiration from the currency symbols which LSP (£$P) would use when writing his name. The metallic green colour in the leaf is inspired by LSP’s unique dress style in which he would often wear metallic items such as badges, mirrors and crystals. LSP was never afraid to destroy and rebuild, he was a musical scientist. He will forever be an inspiration to my work.’

This piece is an original artwork created using Posca Pens, and comes signed by the artist.

The piece comes framed in a 25mm Black Box Frame.
