Colour Splat Bang is a silkscreen print by acclaimed contemporary artist and YBA, Ian Davenport, best known for his poured lines and puddle paintings.
The print hails from a series in which the artist experimented with the colours and textures of household emulsion paints, applying them to the canvas in a range of physical approaches. In this instance, Davenport splatted the paint onto the surface and allowed them to drip into a network of rainbow squiggles.
This silkscreen print is from a limited edition of 30, signed by the artist.
