Jamie Reid is the iconic artist behind the Sex Pistols artwork that defined the punk era. Known for subverting portraits of the monarchy and artworks that protest against everything from climate change to Poll Tax, Reid’s rebellious nature shines through every piece.

Black Anarchy is a piece of punk history. Released in 2023, from the depths of his archive, this is a silkscreen print of the very first flyer Reid designed for Malcolm McLaren and the Sex Pistols.

Taken from an original painting and printed in the Peckham offices of his radical political magazine, Suburban Press, this image was used to promote the band’s debut single, Anarchy in the UK.

From a limited edition of 200, this piece features pops of green and pink neon and is signed and numbered by the artist.

Size (cm): 75 x 54
