Gavin Mitchell is a London-based artist who reworks found objects using photography, collage and print to explore the relationship between East and West.
This piece is from Mitchell’s Fourth Wall series, in which he creates new narratives by juxtaposing vintage postcards with black and white film stills from classic B-movies of the fifties and sixties.
In Beach Rodeo, Mitchell’s cowboy makes a dramatic entrance onto the beach at Southbourne in Bournemouth.
This pigment print with UV varnish is from a limited edition of 15, signed and numbered by the artist.
