Obama Superman is a limited edition artwork by prominent street artist, Mr Brainwash – an artist who was launched onto the art scene in 2010 off the back of the Banksy-directed documentary, Exit Through the Gift Shop.
This piece is a prime example of the artist’s oeuvre, in which he appropriates imagery from popular culture and adds his own graffiti-style flourishes. Here, Mr Brainwash offers a tongue-in-cheek play on the public image of Barack Obama.
From a limited edition of 300, the piece is signed by Mr Brainwash, and comes framed in a black box frame. Â
