Haus Of Lucy appropriates found objects and images, slipping in quirky nods to contemporary culture. Each of her creations disrupts the ordinary and forms new, thought-provoking and amusing works of art.

Speaking of Skate Betty, Lucy explains:

Betty, the Duchess of Nuffolk, had noticed that since Christmas, her corsets were getting tighter and tighter. She really didn t know why – she had been drinking healthy smoothies every day (look, no one could stomach liquidised spinach unless it was mixed in with a tub of Haagen Daz right?) and was doing lots of yoga (the child s pose was *known* to be fat burning) but she was determined to get back in shape . So she bought herself a skateboard and the rest, as they say, is history! She was now to be seen skating all over the estate and her goal was to have mastered an ollie by the weekend, when she had a surprise performance lined up for the Duke. Now, where were her knee pads?
