Kate Jenkins is a Brighton-based artist known for joyful pop-art crochet, knit and embroidery creations. Mostly food-focused, and spanning everything from prawn platters to patisserie pastries, her artworks are entwined with a wonderful sense of humour.

In Hand Sewn Seafood Platter, Jenkins presents us with knitted hand-sequinned sardines and prawns with hand-crocheted mussel, lemon wedge and lettuce. The piece is hand-stitched onto a giclée print of a knife and fork.
