Grenades are a motif that defines Gjoen’s oeuvre. To mark the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese zodiac, in his 2024 series, Gjoen’s chrome deadly weapon is encircled by the mythical beast, which is said to represent power, success and courage.
This print is being released alongside Gjoen’s latest sculpture, SERES DRACONIS GRENADE, launched at Salone Del Mobile Milano in April 2024.
