Sara Pope is a British contemporary artist known for evocative portrayals of lips. In each bold and daring artwork, Pope explores human emotion and the range of feelings we can communicate with just our mouths.  

MY RUBY HEART is from Pope’s 2024 Red exhibition. The show was an exploration of the allure of the colour red and the power and influence it has over the decisions we make and the emotions we feel.

This original artwork of an anatomical heart is created with oil on gesso covered wood panel and embellished with 15,000 crystals. The piece is signed by the artist.
