Slim Aarons is an American photographer known for capturing: ‘attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places.’ By winning the trust of his subjects, he was able to shoot some of the most intimate and candid portraiture of the 20th century.

El Venero depicts the Moorish villa of Spanish Ambassador Hector de Ayala and his wife Chico in Marbella, Spain, 1971. Aarons captures the haze of summer, mountains rising in the background, and beautiful people lounging with cocktails in front of the pristine villa.

This C-Type photography print is available in multiple sizes, and is part of an open edition, stamped by the publisher.

Thinking about framing? Our Gallery Advisors recommend choosing a white frame below to perfectly present this artwork. Please call us on +44 (0)1273 724829 if you would like to add framing to the largest size of this print (101 x 152cm).

The images in the Slim Aarons collection have slightly different sizes, this is quite common for photography that was shot in analogue as opposed to digital.

The print dimensions provided refer to the paper size, including the white border, and not to the printed area.

In some instances we may be able arrange for prints to have exactly the same measurements of the printed area (at an additional charge). If you require this service please contact the gallery.
