Dirty Hans is a painter and illustrator specialising in high impact contemporary urban art. His work fuses Pop Art sensibilities with realism, and borrows imagery from popular culture to create fun pieces which evoke a sense of time and place.
Love Hearts Gallery is one in a series of artworks created by Hans in response to the COVID crisis. The piece depicts an imagined gallery populated with romantic photos, movie stills and works of art.
Hans explains: The piece came about from constantly seeing the heartache of what Covid is doing to us all. I thought the world needed a little bit of love. I tried to inject some smiles and love into the piece. I hope you heart it.
