For this fascinating series, Peter Blake dips his toe into latest development in 3D printing to create the world s very first all-printed three-dimensional artwork.
In true Peter Blake style, the series focuses around found objects, which are scanned and then printed in layers of pigment tinted powder that solidify once printing is complete. The prints are then mounted on wood, giving each collage an authentic display cabinet effect.
Each silkscreen print in the 3D Wooden Puzzle Series combines 3D printing with glitter, embossing and glazes. The collection is made up of five prints and is from a limited edition of 25.
