Found Art: Claudia Dell on Sale

This piece is from Peter Blake s Found Art series and is inspired by one of the earliest tenets of Pop Art, the idea that even the most basic everyday object can be transformed into fine art. Rather than opting to depict major commercial brands like Warhol, Blake uses found objects that most would cast aside.

From a limited edition of 25 published in 2015, Found Art: Claudia Dell depicts the front cover of Motion Picture Classic, one of the most popular movie magazines of the 1910s and 20s. The magazine s cover star is Claudia Della, all American showgirl and star of the silver screen.
