Dan Baldwin is a British contemporary artist known for blending the abstract with the figurative to create artworks that intersect reality and fantasy.
Death At The Parade is inspired by a painting that Baldwin saw in a Mexican museum. This surreal artwork depicts the dream world of the little girl sleeping in the centre of the piece, capturing a cast of unusual animals and creatures.
By infusing the artwork with skeletal imagery, Baldwin juxtaposes childhood innocence with mortality and the sinister with the nostalgic.
This 24-colour silkscreen print with glazes is from a limited edition of 125, signed and numbered by the artist.
