Since his career began in the 1950s, Sir Peter Blake has been prolific, creating paintings, collage, typography and more inspired by his fascination with popular culture. Blake’s impact on the face of contemporary art is so significant, he is now known as the ‘Godfather of Pop Art.’ 

This piece hails from Blake s coveted 2009 Venice Suite, which was inspired by the artist s trip to the city for the Venice Biennale in 2007. 

In Venice Suite, Collision, Blake portrays a Venetian Lagoon, featuring a gondolier trying to avoid a collision between two rowing boats.

This silkscreen print is from a limited edition of 75, signed and numbered by the artist.
