Handiedan s digital collage work and manipulation is an exploration of feminine beauty, strength, and the layers of complexity we accrue over a lifetime, both physical and cultural. By juxtaposing traditional pin-up girls against ornate backdrops, Handiedan creates her own futuristic version of beauty.

In this piece, the female form is woven around the workings of a lunar clock, against a backdrop of the one dollar bill.

While being a celebration of female sexuality, the artwork also urges the viewer to consider the objectification of women and how women s bodies have been controlled and monetised by society.
