This piece is from street artist Kid-B’s debut collection, ‘In The Beginning’, which celebrates the birth of Drum and Bass and Jungle music in the 1990s. Even the collection’s name is a nod to the rave scene, originating from a sample in DJ Hype’s ‘Closer to God’ track. The lyrics Kid-B has selected for this piece hail from classic track, ‘Super Sharp Shooter’ by Ganja Kru.
Kid-B’s typography-focused work is a fusion of Street Art and Pop Art sensibilities, characterised by bold graphics, and loud, colourful palettes.
