RYCA is known for his fun artworks that combine techniques and typography used in old-fashioned pub signage with motifs from popular culture. Via his prints and signs, he aims to ‘establish the aesthetic of old-fashioned signage as an art form.’
To create Outfuckinstanding, RYCA carves his chosen phrase into wood, and then hand-finishes it with 23ct gold leaf. Next, he applies a silkscreen print to the glass to enhance the 3D effect.Â
From a limited edition of five, the piece comes signed by the artist and framed in a hardwood frame.Â
