In his Venice Fantasies Series the artist takes 21 different photographs of Venice captured in the early 1900’s as part of a set of tourist postcards, and transforms them with a cast of unlikely characters and animals.
This 60-page hardback book, published in 2009, features all 21 images from the Venice Fantasies series. Each copy comes with a signed original silkscreen print by Blake entitled, Mickey’s Birthday Party.
The book is from a limited edition of 75 and is signed and numbered by the artist.
